Is it easy to bring my weapons into Zimbabwe ?
A temporary import permit is usually given to hunting tourists at the point of entry into Zimbabwe , be it the airport or the border post, for the purpose of hunting.

How do I get to Zimbabwe (flights)?
Most flights to Zimbabwe are via South Africa (Oliver Tambo international airport), so the best way to come to Zimbabwe is via South Africa unless if one is driving from neighbouring countries like Botswana , Zambia or Namibia .
Upon all payment of the trophy fees and the relevant taxidermy and shipping fees all trophies are remitted to their owners. However, a time allowance must be given for the Taxidermy work (3-4 months) and for the processing by the hunting outfit (Dipping and packing). In total trophies can be delayed by up to 12 months while this is done.
All hunters are encouraged to hunt with reputable outfits, to prevent delays. Delays of up to 2-3 years have been experienced due to the flouting of some of the regulations governing the hunting industry in Zimbabwe .
Visas can be obtained from the embassies in the country of origin of the hunter or at the nearest Zimbabwean Embassy. Some nationals are able to get visas at the port of entry into Zimbabwe .
